Residents want tunnel closed
By JADE CHAN
I am a residents living on the other side of the world; I meant eastern side of PJ
Have the resident of the Taman Megah Mas ever think, how would be the other side of people feel when the tunnel close down; how inconvenient it’s going to cause to few thousand or even more people living in Ara Damasara, (Crimson Apartment, D’aman RIA apartment)
I understood that the it have causes traffic jam during peak hours but that only happen on few road near to the exit of tunnel and not the entire TAMAN.
It is not fair to the other side of people, just because of the few row of resident affected.
I don’t agree in what had commented in the STAR NEWS
Someone comment:
“Motorists from as far as Kota Damansara and Bandar Utama will also cut through Taman Mayang (via Jalan SS25/32 and Jalan SS25/39) to use the tunnel as a short cut to go to Saujana and Ara Damansara,” said Taman Mayang RT chairman Chan Chow Wang”
My comment:
Traffic jam happen early in the morning for those heading to KELANA JAYA and after working hours for those heading back to Ara Damasara; which I believe mostly from the resident on the other side and not as what you claim as far as KOTA DAMASARA
Someone comment:
“The congestion is expected to worsen with future developments in Lembah Subang and Saujana like a four-star 18-storey hotel and several commercial and residential developments.”
My comment:
That is going to happen in future? Can you tell me when it will happen, it is not in our position to know.
Someone comment:
“The congestion in our neighbourhood is very bad, particularly during peak hours, and the heavy traffic poses a danger to residents and pedestrians,” said Goay
My comment:
We are not driving a Ferrari to work, I never seen car speeding at this area during peaks hours. As you had said that congestion happen, “how to speed my friends and how to poses danger to you”
Someone comment:
“When the Taman Megah Mas tunnel was closed last month for a traffic study initiated by the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ), crime went down to zero. Otherwise, there would be reports of car and house break-ins, and snatch thefts every week.”
My comment:
Don’t you put the blame to the tunnel; the crime went down to zero it is not because of the tunnel closure, it is because the “Taman Megah” residents had hired security guard recently as night watch. Although the tunnel had closed down for a month for monitoring study purposes but I still seen a lot of motorbike cross using the tunnel. Is the thefts come and rob you using a CAR or maybe Lorry
I am agree with you if you put the fault to the authority for having such a poor development and I support you idea to built a flyover across to solve the problem
Don’t be so selfish and think only for yourselves and I hope that we can join force and push the authority to provide better access or flyover and not to close the tunnel until there is a solution.
ON BEHALF OF ARA DAMASARA RESIDENTS, WE ALSO WANT PEACEFUL ENVIROMENT
